@aasis21 Thank you for your feedback! We will review and provide an update as appropriate.
@aasis21, Currently, we do not do much with CTR since we do not track what a user does after we return the search results. Generally, this needs to be done on the client side and then leverage something like App Insights to store this data.
@aasis21, We will now proceed to close this thread. If there are any further questions regarding this matter, please tag me in your reply we will gladly continue the discussion.
Sorry for late reply. The documentation states that "Click through Rate (CTR): ratio of users who click on a specific document to the number of total searches " and When to use the power BI desktop to see the CTR by scoring profile. So, It does some averaging and stuff, also the CTR goes above 100. Basically I didn't get the definition given in documentation and how the CTR is calculated in PowerBI report. @AjayKumar-MSFT
aasis21, Thanks for following-up on this with additional details, I'm checking on this further and will get back to you soon.
@HeidiSteen, Requesting your comments.
@AjayKumar-MSFT @aasis21 Apologies for the delayed response. The report in question is currently lacking an owner. I don't know if this helps, but you should be able to replace the CTR calculation with one that works better with your data. This link looks promising: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Calculating-CTR-and-display-in-the-right-format-in-Power-PI/td-p/254225
Can you please give more details about how is the CTR calculated from the data that is logged?
