AzureDataLakeStorage Gen2 refresh with powerbi.com

I cannot refresh data lake gen 2 with PowerBI.com

Authentication works fine from a PowerBI desktop perspective. My Azure and my Office 365 have the same tenant id's (this was identified in another thread, however, not applicable for me...

here are the steps I followed... Sure here are the steps I followed: Following steps in Azure:

• Created a storage account and enabled Hierarchical namespaces.
• Created a data lake gen 2 file system and created a container with files.
• Gave my account access and assigned it "Storage Blob Data Reader" role.

Next steps in Power BI Desktop:

• I selected get data and selected the Azure Data Lake Storage Gen 2 (beta) data source.
• I entered the URL: https://********.dfs.core.windows.net/container .
• Authenticated and it worked fine, I then went into query editor and expanded my files
• Closed and applied and everything refreshed successfully.
• I then published the report, which published successfully.

Next steps in Power BI Online:

• I went to the dataset and selected refresh, it did not work.
• So I went into "Scheduled Refresh" and noticed it required the "Data source credentials", so I expanded that, and selected "Authentication method" as "OAuth2" and Privacy level as "None".

I have reviewed this post of the above linked issue previously. Both my office 365 and azure accounts are on the same tenant, so this does not apply - however I get the same error.
