Multi-SID clustering of SAP ASCS/ERS with SUSE Linux as guest operating system in Azure VMs is NOT supported. #44289

I wold like to understand why Multi-SID is not currently supported with SUSE Linux in Azure, specially because the SUSE documentation indicates that this setup is currently supported for SLES 12

@carlosporter Thanks for the Feedback. The Doc authors are checking on this ask and will get back on this thread.

The referenced SUSE documentation refers to multi-tenant HANA installation. Multi-tenant HANA installation is supported on Azure as well.

The statement in the Azure documentation is that currently multi-SID SAP Netweaver / S/4 HANA clusters are not supported (i.e. SAP application layer) .
