Post http://localhost:5001/score: net/http: request canceled (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers) #44339

I deployed a model with ACI, upon calling the REST endpoint, it returns the error:

Post http://localhost:5001/score: net/http: request canceled (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)

This defintiely looks like something internal to how the model is deployed (hence the localhost:5001 in the return message.)

@edu-gp Could you please let us know if you are following any quickstart from azure documentation before facing this issue? In general, the timeout limit that can be set is a maximum of 60 seconds.

This forum is used to support issues related to azure documentation. For service level issues we would request to post them in our stackoverflow or MSDN forums with details of your implementation so other members of the community can help.

For issues related to product services we recommend to raise a Azure support request from azure portal so the appropriate product service team can address the same.

I used the 1-click deployment via the UI to deploy a trained model, then I followed the “Consume web services” guide to call the endpoint.

Unfortunately, when I deploy on either ACI or AKS, both deployment succeeds, but when I call the endpoints, they time out.

The error above is for ACI. I just tried deploying on AKS and hitting the endpoint there, I get the error “Request timed out on replica”.

@edu-gp Thanks for the clarification. Since this looks an issue with the experiment rather than documentation we would request to post details of your experiment on our MSDN or stackoverflow forums so the community can replicate the issue and post a resolution.

If you need further help, please create a support issue from Azure portal from help+support blade from the portal.
