Is LogicApp is part of "trusted Microsoft services"? #45834

Per documentation it's not listed as trusted service and yet below it says that you can add custom RBAC role in addition to adding it to adding to "trusted service". So if Logic apps are part of trusted services or not?

@artisticcheese, Thanks for the question! We are taking a look into this and will get back to you soon.

@artisticcheese - It appears to be a trusted service, based on this note in the Azure Logic Apps documentation:

To access Azure storage accounts behind firewalls by using HTTP requests and managed identities, make sure that you also set up your storage account with the exception that allows access by trusted Microsoft services.

Please let us know if this answers your question.

@ecfan, who owns the content for Azure Logic Apps.

Adding @kevinlam1 to confirm that Logic Apps is missing from the Trusted Services list in this topic and needs to be added: Configure Azure Storage firewalls and virtual networks

kevinlam1 commented 4 years ago

We should be. Adding @cbrooksmsft from Storage who can verify that this doc should be updated to add Logic Apps to the list.

ecfan commented 4 years ago

@cbrooksmsft, can you confirm updating this doc to include Logic Apps on the Trusted Microsoft services list in the Configure Azure Storage firewalls and virtual networks page?

artisticcheese commented 4 years ago

The reason this topic is created I believe LogicApps is NOT trusted service and hence is absent from list since I run into issue of logic app failing to access storage account with that setting on.

Hi @artisticcheese,

Also, as FYI, you can find Logic Apps listed as a trusted service, but appears in the 2nd table here:
