Is this page supposed to be deprecated? There is a similar page at the link below, but it is specific to VMs. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/sentinel/tutorial-monitor-your-data

This page (usage-workbooks) is still linked from here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/visualizations and I found it from Azure Sentinel here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/sentinel/tutorial-monitor-your-data

I see the link below is the Workbook overview now, so the usage-workbooks page is probably out of date? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/platform/workbooks-overview

@dcbrown16 Thanks for the question. I have assigned the issue to the content author to clarify and update as appropriate.

@dcbrown16 It is not really deprecated per se, but now that workbooks isn't just an Application Insights feature I agree it makes sense to retire this doc and redirect it to point to the more comprehensive workbooks docs that we have now.

I will take care of this later this sprint. (We are currently in a publishing freeze until the first day of the Build conference so this change will have to wait a week before I would be able to get it merged)

@dcbrown16 as always thank you for helping to improve the docs. It turns out this doc was referenced in 27 other articles across docs.microsoft.com which I was not aware of. I have updated the existing references in those 27 docs so they now point to the new workbooks overview, and I have retired the doc and created a redirect as well. These changes are merged internally and will go-live tomorrow around 10 AM.
