For timed jobs, it would be nice if there was a comparison between functions and automation (when you would choose one over the other)

@ChaitanyaNaykodi-MSFT just wondering if there has been any update on this. I too wonder how Azure Automation is regarded by Microsoft at this point, especially since it doesn't seem to get mentioned anywhere, even in this article. It's like it's silently planned for decommissioning or something.

We actually have an article specifically for comparison of automation services, which we do link to: Choose the automation services in Azure. This article does a much better automation-specific comparison. I'll try to make the link more pronounced.
