Unknown Operating System issue #65165

The table of 'Assessment readiness issues' is very useful. But I have an issue with one line, 'Unsupported operating system'.

First, the error in the Azure Migrate portal is 'Unsupported OS', not 'operating system'. The errors should match EXACTLY between the Portal and the docs, otherwise there is always an underlying concern I might be looking at the wrong line.

Second, the error description only covers the VMware case. I have this error right now with Hyper-V. The description needs to reflect all possibilities.

@jtuliani Thanks for your feedback. Can you let us know which line you're referring to. A search for exact text "Unsupported operating system" doesn't show up a result in this article. Is the ask for all references to "operating system" in the assessment readiness table should be changed to "OS" for clarity? Can you also let us know which error description only covers the VMware case. This will help ensure we fix the issue accurately. Thanks!
