@arolshan You can check the list of products available for the sovereign clouds by Azure:
Also as per the article, "Azure Government services operate the same way as the corresponding services in global Azure, which is why most of the existing online Azure documentation applies equally well to Azure Government. However, there are some key differences that developers working on applications hosted in Azure Government must be aware of."
So we will find the same features available in these clouds as well.
Further details of AAD authentication for US Government is provided in below article:
Azure AD authentication endpoints
Please let me know if this help or else we can discuss further.
@arolshan Awaiting your response on this.
I reviewed the links you sent and they weren't helpful.
I asked specifically on the feature of using AAD to query SQL.
I know it wasn’t supported a year ago on sov clouds.
Is it now supported? Are there any engineers from the Azure SQL RP team that can confirm this?
Thanks, Arik.
@arolshan Thanks for replying back. I am tagging the content owner for more details on this.
Hi @arolshan - Thanks for the question. I can confirm that AAD is supported in Azure Gov cloud. We don't normally list whether a feature is supported for Gov Cloud, unless there are special circumstances.

Hi, is this supported in Azure US Gov cloud?
Thanks, Arik.
