Missing external table location when running the external table write example

Is the external table location missing as a parameter in the external table write example code?

df.write. option(Constants.DATA_SOURCE, ). option(Constants.FILE_FORMAT, ). synapsesql("..", Constants.EXTERNAL)

I get this error:

Error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Please specify the external table location

when I try to write my df. The df contains an external table I just read from the pool and I use the DataSource and FileFormat from that table, so I know they both are valid.

It works fine if I write an internal table.
