Thank you for pointing this out! I wasn't able to reproduce your issue.
But from your screenshot, it looks like your subscription does not support classic administrators. Can you see if you have Microsoft.ClassicSubscription registered as one of your resource providers? If not, I'd recommend registering them to see if that resolves your issue.
Since our docs are currently correct, and to gain a better understanding of your issue, I'd recommend working closer with our support team via an Azure support request. Or you can leverage our Q&A forum by posting your issue there so our community, and MVPs can further assist you in troubleshooting this issue or finding potential workarounds.

2 years ago Microsoft.ClassicSubscription is not in the list of providers to select. 1st Image. You can see (2nd image) that I've created co-administrators before. I don't recall how I did it. I'm just trying to give a new person access to our virtual machines. I've already given them "Global Administrator" (Image 3) through the active directory. [image: image.png]
