Hi there,

I tried to use the linked CLUtils tool to turn files into txt files to use Custom Entity Recognition. Unfortunatly, the tool was blocked due to security mistrust and I am working for Microsoft. Could you please update the article and include a service which is easiy to use to adopt the Custom Entity Recognition service?

@lafranke can you tell us more about the block you're encountering? For example, screenshots or copy/paste of any error messages would be very helpful.

Hi @aahill , unfortunately, I do not have any images. Perhaps the description is enough.

The first problem I encountered was that I could not probably downlaod the file. My browser always blocked it and after a certain amount of re-forcing it (10 times or so), I was sent to a website where I had to put in my credentials and explain why I want to use this tool and why I trust it. After I somehow had it in my download folder, I tried to execute it. However, it never really opened/ran.

At this point, I just gave up and used Azure Computer Vision which worked great.

I hope this helps!
