is there an on-prem version of this post? what do we do if our cluster is not hosted in azure? #9159

Hi @alexgman we are working on publishing guidance for standalone clusters. In the mean time @dkkapur can you provide general guidance for standalone monitoring and diagnostics?

@alexgman - the general guidance would be dependent on if your cluster can be connected to the internet or not. In the case that it is offline and cannot be connected, I would recommend the ELK stack. In the case that you can connect your cluster up to the internet, OMS Log Analytics + AI (similar to what we have in the documentation online) becomes a viable option. You can also look at Dynatrace or SCOM or a similar on-prem options if you'd prefer.
