@sweigand Thanks for your patience. You may continue to run the retired version in Azure Database for PostgreSQL. However, please note the this comes with restrictions after the retirement date for each PostgreSQL database version. Read more in below link:
Retired PostgreSQL engine versions not supported in Azure Database for PostgreSQL
For higher versions, we need to use Flexible Server or Hyperscale. Please let us know if this helps.

Seeing as the latest version of PostgreSQL supported on Azure Database for PostgreSQL - Single Server is version 11, and version 11 is EOL 2023 November 9, what is the future of Azure Database for PostgreSQL - Single Server?
