Access PIM activity and audit history via API,PWSH?

In the article you describe how to access activity and audit history for Azure resource roles in Privileged Identity Management via the Azure AD Admin Center. However we would like automate generating activity and audit history reports. Could you add information how to access the information via API or Powershell? I could not find this documented anywhere else. Thanks and best regards, Joerg
