Hi there, I tried to sideload the chrome-extensions-samples-main_archive\mv2\api\ttsEngine\console_tts_engine into Microsoft Edge, but ran into issues after switching it to V3. The V2 version won't launch in Edge either. I checked the documentation on migrating from V2 to V3, but still couldn't get it working. Do you know of any sample source code I could use as an example to get text-to-speech working in Edge? I'd really appreciate any tips you can provide. Let me know if you need any clarification on what I'm trying to do here. Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for asking.

Unfortunately, it looks like the chrome-extensions-samples repo only contains an archived example for the tts API. Their new set of samples doesn't seem to have anything about TTS.

We have some samples, but they're quite beginner level, and don't have anything about TTS.

So, it looks like your best bet will be to go through the docs on the Chrome Developers site, and starting from scratch. Unless you can find other similar extensions and check their code.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, but we don't have specific documentation or samples about using TTS.
