I have created some Collections in Microsoft Learn with various learning towards my certifications which may be of interest to other learners. I’d like to share them, and have them visible when they view my profile, however the Collections are not available in my public profile.
Various Collections are visible when viewing my own profile while logged in (image 1).
When taking the link of a specific Collection https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/users/ingezb/collections/e240c667qe7q7w and using that in an InPrivate window, my Collection is publicly available (image 3). So I can use them and share the individual links with anyone. But if I’ve shared an individual Collection and someone is interested to see if I have other Collections that are helpful to them, there’s no possibility for them to get there.
Please review to make Collections visible in public Learn profile to promote sharing of learning.
To make it a bit more complicated to implement, you can image that someone would like to make some Collection publicly available while keeping some other Collection private. So, some slider ‘Private Collection’ in the header of a Collection would be nice, similar to the Privacy Settings ‘Private Mode’ in settings but then per Collection (image 4).
Create and maintain a GitHub repository as a workaround. Include links to all my Collections in README.md. Modify Microsoft Learn Collections to refer to GitHub repository.
