Mapping 4-way Scroll Wheel to "back" and "forward" on Browser and File Explorer #3750

The problem: I am frustrated that I purchased a Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile 3600 mouse and it does not allow me to map the left and right direction on the scroll wheel to "back" and "forward" on my browser and file explorer. I assumed that this was a standard feature for all mouses. Logitech and Lenovo both have mouses that allow for this functionality. I am not the first person to complain about this either. See link. This request was in 2018 and we are in 2022.

The solution: Adding more mapping options for left and right scroll wheel. Add it to the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center or the drivers on the device manager.

The alternative: I would use a 3rd party driver, if that would solve the issue. However, none exist.
