Which one of the following two sentences is more appropriate (in context to use of comma)?

[1] We are sorry an error occurred while processing your booking request. Please contact the travel center at 1234567890. [2] We are sorry, an error occurred while processing your booking request. Please contact the travel center at 1234567890.

This scenario should be a part of MSTP.
