When using a sound card capable of 96Khz sample rate or more, with a microphone as input, teams reports "Your microphone isn't working Switch to a different device or try reconnecting this one" Switching to another device (e.g. camera microphone) works.
After changing the sound card sample rate to 48Khz or lower and restarting Teams the microphone on the external interface works normally.
I'm using a Focusrite 2i4 3rd gen usb audio interface, all other windows based software has no audio problems with different sample rates.
NOTE: this started happening from the latest update, the issue did not appear before.
