@sayali-MSFT Thank you for following this issue. I know that there will be successful scenarios, and many of our customers have successfully woken up the pop-up window in the Teams app instead of waking up the browser, but there is still a customer who can only wake up the browser. What I want to ask is whether there are other configurations that cause the customer to Unable to wake up the pop-up box can only wake up the browser, such as Teams Setting -> 'File open preference' or MS teams VDI

@KaratLee -Can you please confirm once what version of the Teams Desktop Client the impacted customer(s) are using? Versions older than 1.6.00.6754 had a known issue that was fixed. Could you please confirm, if they are still seeing the problem on Teams v1.6.00.6754 and newer.

We have this same issue - seems to only happen inside of our VDI environment. The authentication window never loads and is pushed to open a browser window rather than the team's popup. Is it possible one of the VDI optimization settings is interfering with this?
We have also faced with this issue in VDI. The customer is using Teams desktop version 1.6.00.11166 (64-bit). Citrix HDX Optimized. @sayali-MSFT please let us know in case of any updates Thank you!

@sayali-MSFT Are there any updates on this? 3 customers of ours are using Teams desktop version 1.6.00.11166 within Citrix (with HDX optimized) as well. The browser pop-up opens instead of the Teams pop-up. Any update on this is highly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Only one customer opens a new browser, and other customers pop up pop-up boxes on the Teams app. Does the Teams app have special configuration items? Such as MS teams VDI.
