Bot commands not responding in Group Chats and Personal Tab(New Teams) #9397

Capability impacted: Bot, Adaptive Card

Issue with bot in the group chats Repro Steps:

  1. Install signNow for Teams application
  2. Add signNow app to the group chat
  3. Open the group chat
  4. Start a new post
  5. Enter @signNow
  6. Select the suggested signNow app

Actual result: The bot commands are not being suggested. When entering the command manually, there's no response from the signNow application(please refer to the "Bot-in-group-chat" attachment) Expected result: I should be able to see and select bot commands as suggestions. When I manually input the command, I should receive a response from the signNow application.

Issue with the bot on personal tab Repro Steps:

  1. Install signNow for Teams application
  2. Open a chat with the signNow App
  3. Choose a command from the action menu

Actual result: There's no response from the application(please refer "Bot-on-Personal-tab" attachment) Expected result There is response from the application with the adaptive cards

@ann-kuzmiak -We have tested the above scenario.It is working fine. Microsoft Teams Version 1.6.00.24053 (64-bit). OS: Windows 11

We will also check with Windows 10 and provide you with updates. Additionally, could you please share the Teams version or verify with Microsoft Teams Version 1.6.00.24053 (64-bit)?

@sayali-MSFT The issue is reproduced with the new Teams client The version is 23231.413.2355.7555

@ann-kuzmiak -We are able to repro that issue, we have raised bug for the same. We will inform you once we get any update. Microsoft Teams version 23231.413.2355.7555.
