PowerBIIntegration.data is empty when using PBI Desktop to create the app, but works from powerbi.com

When trying to import PBI visual data to canvas app trought PBI Desktop, PowerBIIntegration.data is empty. Workaround: Once the report is created, do the same manipulation on powerbi.com and the connection works.
