Debugger on a website when disable ignore list in first time , the devtools will freeze for seconds or miniutes. #264

This problem has been exist for a long time.

in this repo,it just freeze for few seconds, but in another repo, it will freeze 1~2 minutes.

And i used devtool's feedback several months ago, and it has no response.

reproduce steps:

  1. Download this repo default.zip
  2. execute pnpm install then when it's done execute pnpm run dev
  3. open browser and goto http://localhost:5173 and open devtools
  4. Open devtools' setting and Disable Ignore List

  1. refresh page and there will have a error like this

  2. click warning.js and add a breakpoint on this line

  3. re-open devtools and refresh page immediately. The DevTool will hang for seconds.

Any progress, or is this just a place to collect questions without actually solving anything?

No progress on this particular issue to report at this time unfortunately. Rest assured that our team is very busy with many other things. Getting to this issue, as with any other issue, is unfortunately subject to hard prioritization decisions.
