Was one of the most popular things requested for interop 2024 but was not chosen and no reason was given. Seems to me that it should qualify as a top developer need.

Thanks @bdougherty for the suggestion! JPEG XL will be on the list of features we consider for inclusion as we iterate on the dashboard (cadence for that is TBD).
