Static download link Evergreen Standalone #2591

Hi edge devs,

we are using WebView2 to replace CEF. Unfortunately that means we have to deliver WebView2 standalone with our software to customers, sometimes to PCs without internet connection or restricted connection - therefore the evergreen bootstrapper is no valid option in those cases.

We would like to automatically include the latest Standalone Evergreen whenever shipping a new version of our product. For that we need a static download link. For the Evergreen Bootstrapper such a download link exists - but nor for standalone.

Could you please provide one?

@georg-eckert-zeiss thanks for reaching out. Yah I don't believe there is a good way today for you to programmatically get the latest standalone installer, therefore tracking this as a feature request on our end. How often do you ship a new version of your product?

Hi @liminzhu. Including Service Packs every few weeks.
