Ex3/Task4 - Need to reconnect to Exchange Online after Windows CL1 reboot in Task3 #152

After Task3 reboot of CL1 Windows VM the student needs to

  1. Open Power Shell as a regular user Joni.
  2. Reconnect to Exchange Online

Before proceeding with Task 4 Step 2.

Please provide more detailed and proper instructions.

@arnoldvilleneuve, Than you for bringing this to my attention. To ensure I address your concern accurately, can you please clarify which lab requires clearer instructions in exercise 3, task 4?

Lab1/Ex4/Task4

Task 4 – Create custom branding template Protected messages sent by your organizations finance department require special branding, including customized introduction and body texts and a Disclaimer link in the footer. The finance messages shall also expire after seven days. In this task, you will create a new custom OME configuration and create a transport rule to apply the OME configuration to all mail sent from the finance department.

Log into Client 1 VM (LON-CL1) as the lon-cl1\admin account and there should still be an open PowerShell window with Exchange Online connected. NOTE: YOU ARE NO LONGER CONNECTED TO EXCHANGE BECAUSE YOU HAD TO REBOOT EARLIER IN THE EXERCISE.

Run the following cmdlet to create a new configuration:

powershell New-OMEConfiguration -Identity "Finance Depa...............
