Performs Too Slow for use in production applications. #25

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Load a page with the scroller...
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Scroller pops up almost immediatly, and definitly within 1 second.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iOS 4 (latest)

Please be more specific:

the expected output, or the current behaviour?

Hi, may I answer here: this is current behaviour. Picker pops up within a 
4-second delay, wheels are scrolling very slowly, and the page "buzzes" (on 
iPhone).

I've looked into this issue deeper.

Mobiscroll demo page looks awesome on iPhone. (really cool!)
Hence the issue is on my side. After some trial and error I worked out that it 
was caused by jQuery UI CSS file (jquery-ui-1.8.8.custom.css). I tried turning 
it on and off several times and I'm sure it causes the issue. jQuery UI 
javascript by itself does not break mobiscroll, this seems to be only CSS.

Any thoughts on how to fix this? I still need jQuery UI for popup dialogs.

I also experience this issue, both on my page and on demo. 3-4 seconds of 
waiting before it shows up and slow turning wheels on iPod 2G.

Iphone 3g, Iphone4 and Ipad1 having the same issue. As soon as I add the 
reference to the jqueryiui custom css it becomes totally laggy and barely 
usable.

Any ideas?

hi,

I am using the demo mobiscroll html page where there is a label control upon 
clicking which the mobiscroll control appears. Is there a way to automatically 
simulate this click 1 second after page load? Most probably by using jquery 
ready or pageinit event?
