Song cover lingers #54

Describe the bug When starting a song, the cover is shown before transitioning into the actual level, but the cover becomes black and stays there covering the level's screen so the back ground and part of the right arrows can't be seen.

To Reproduce I'm not sure if it's all songs, but all I had to do was play a song. The ones I remember it happening on are Gurenge and Lost in Paradise from the Anime Extreme Manga Pack.

Expected behavior The cover should fade or dash away so it doesn't appear in the actual level.

Stopping by to confirm it's happening for me as well OS: Kubuntu 22.04.3 ITGMania Theme version 3.0 Beta 1

Seems to happen on every song I've tested so far.

I'll take a look through the code and see if there's anything that could cause issues with non Outfox copies of StepMania. It's been a bit since I last checked compatibility.

Same problem here as well. Running Stepmania Flatpak on Linux Mint 21.1.

The issue appeared for me after creating the SNCharacters folder and placing dancer videos inside. Another thing that happened was after going into options and then game mode, player 2 is activated and cannot be removed. I don't know if this is related.

The problem disappears when switching away from the starlight theme and back to it. For whatever reason I can't seem to replicate it after it's working again, but I took a screenshot of what it looks like.
