Here is my color variant in which green is the dominant color.

I don't know what the problem is, but I have no indication that the patch is attached !

I don't promise anything since people are already used to actual colors, but I'll try your color theme and tell you what I think about it. It's probable that what would be needed would actually be a theme settings, but we're not there yet in Diffuse ;)
