Why won't my grades show after I set up auto grade?

I set up autograde, and I think it worked, but when I went to the grades tab, 
no grades were listed.

I can't see my grades when I set up auto-grade before the forms come in. I
can see my grades if I set up auto-grade after the forms come in.
