CONES: This git repository aims to couple the CFD software OpenFOAM with any other kind of open-source codes. It is currently employed to carry out sequential Data Assimilation techniques and, more specifically, an Ensemble Kalman Filter (EnKF). The communications between the EnKF and OpenFOAM are performed by a coupler called CWIPI.

Bullet points for the workshop

1) Inputs - KF a) Replace cwipiConfig text file with a dictionary b) Generalize observation data format 2) Pressure-velocity coupling & update after DA step 3) Issues in GitHub & Take out HLEnKF from public release 4) Cleaning the code parts associated with Cf 5) Re-organizing the Git repository

Some comments:

Dictionaries have replaced the "cwipiConfig" in all the test cases.
The EnKF code is general to all test cases and is inside the "lib" folder.
It is impossible to remove the HLEnKF from public release (however, there are some improvements to still perform here).
In the long term, we will try to generalize the observation data format to include it in the dictionaries.
