Links from within a gloss #7

Is it/would it be possible to allow for links from within an interlinear gloss?

I'm trying to use obsidian to help propagate changes within a language description. My strategy is to link appearances of a word (&c) to the note defining that word. (I have some dataview operating to query these links and their modification times.) If I change one note, I can propagate the consequences of that changes to linked notes reasonably easily.

I'll have the corpus text can link to the lexemes/grammemes/glosses they use, but it would be lovely to do that from within an interlinear gloss, rather than have to replicate those links somewhere else in that text's note.

Given that this would require either quite awkward syntax or parsing Obsidian's markdown within the gloss, it's likely not something that'll happen soon, unfortunately.

Yeah, I was afraid of that.

Perhaps someday I'll actually learn the plugin API <.<
