Telemetry Settings #38

I get some telemetry using a 9XR, a 4-in-1 Multiprotocol module and a Turnigy iA6C receiver. Unfortunately, the values are just some integer numbers.

How can I convert the numbers in A1 to a voltage? They get lower corresponding to a lower voltage level. Can I set up er9x to beep when the RSSI or TSSI gets too low? I use er9x-pr822.

If you haven't already found it, have a look at the er9x manual: http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6473#p90349 Around page 57 shows you how to set A1 to a voltage reading. For RSSI, set up a voice alarm, if you don't have a voice upgrade, still use one, but select the type as Audio.

I don't have the voice upgrade. The only alarm I can hear is the inactivity alarm. Okay, I tried to set up an alarm using following parameters: Voice Alarm 2 Source(0) TmOK Function v=val Value 0 Switch --- Rate ON Haptic ------- Play Source No On no Telemetry Play FileType Audio Voice File Warn1

Am I missing something?

With a Rate of ON, the alarm will sound when the test (v=val) changes to true. If it is already true, then you don't get an alarm. Test things are working by using a source of Thr and a function of v>val. You should get a beep when you move the throttle stick above half way. TmOK indicates whether telemetry is being received, so only goes to 0 when you switch the receiver off (or it goes too far away). For RSSI, set the source to RSSI, the function to v<val and the value to 45.
