Destroy backdrop object #1

Platform: XWA

It's impossible to do, so it should be flagged if you're required to destroy a backdrop to complete a mission. Appears in Waylon's XWC 1b13m11. Apparently original X-Wing ignored such goals, but XWA doesn't.

MV was originally intended as a first screening when looking at submitted missions created by others to check for simple mistakes that would affect functionality or would imply the mission design wasn't finished (no Briefing, etc), not to look for every "gotcha". That's not really a rabbit hole I want to go down, since there's a ton of ways to break a mission or render it impossible. In the end, the missions should be flight tested to verify full functionality and to look for other issues. That's the main reason why YOGEME originally locks you out of editing a platform if it's not installed, the intent is that you shouldn't create what you can't test. YOGEME's internal checks and MV is a first pass, then everything else is tested in-game.

Ah, ok. Well that changes the lens through which I view the results, then.

I mean, I didn't expect it to catch everything, like a mission-critical craft flying through a platform or something, but I thought it was meant to catch what's catchable.

I'm going to leave this open for now as a reminder, maybe as time goes on I'll add some deeper checks. For now though I wanted to get the major stuff out of the way and deployed with YOGEME.
