I can't install ControlNet (help wanted) #2444

Is there an existing issue for this?

What happened?

I tried to install ControlNet extension but unfortunately i couldn't. When i paste the link to "URL for extension's git repository" and click install i got error: ValueError: Reference at 'HEAD' does not exist. errorType

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. Click extensions tab on Automatic1111
  2. Then press Install from URL
  3. Then paste the link to "URL for extension's git repository"
  4. Click install

What should have happened?

It supposed to be installed.

It seems to work fine in a local fresh A1111 checkout: 1704921880874

You probably want to file an issue in A1111 repo as the exception does not happen in this repo's code. https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui/issues
