By Hooking Port Selectors or Loot Spec Selection Menus to the Frame itself you not only get conflicts with your own tooltips but also with tons of people using the the upper/bottom part of the screen for other addons.
I'd recommend that you increase their Size and Hook them to the default Tooltip Position (the minimenu) that way people who've ran into issues there automatically solve your issue by using custom non-mouse tooltips.
Also: The XP Bar Tooltip being gone is kinda sad. really useful during launchweek.
