Here's a first change to deal with the depreciated PHP call. It should close the openContextualHelp error issue #60 as well as an issue (that I don't think that was reported here yet) where tags (automatic ones) were added to messages possibly as a result of the previous issue.

You can ignore the previous pull request, I did not read your develop branch comment :-)
