I could add some nouns. Could you assign me this issue?
Hello. I can add some nouns to this. Can you please assign me for this issue?
Hi ! @ianfhunter ... I have added some nouns for the Air environment. As there wasn't air.txt, I made the file and added some nouns. Please review the PR and accept it!
@ianfhunter One more PR for you, please for urban nouns: https://github.com/Mimic-Tools/name-generation/pull/61
Hello, I would like to contribute to this issue with aquatic nouns.
I can contribute some more nouns. Would you prefer folks to pick a single file and work in it? If so, I'd be happy to add some to air. Or if there is a need for another region type like swamp, I'd be happy to create a new noun file.
They would be great. I don't mind if you wish to continue to one or multiple. There are a few new regions to add, I've a list here https://github.com/Mimic-Tools/name-generation/wiki
Great! I'll add swamp.
Task
Please add some more nouns to our environments!
Description
There are several files in name-generation/tree/main/name-segments/nouns/ for different region types. We use these to build names for people from those regions.
The more appropriate words the better. It's important that they are nouns and relevant to the region.
We build names from these lists like "Cosmic Trueaxe", so think about how your word might sound as a name
All that needs to be done is to add as many appropriate words that you can think of at the ends of any of the files.
Good examples for the arctic/tundra: Tom Coldice Tom Coldsled Tom Coldshovel
Bad examples for the arctic/tundra: Tom Coldfrosty (Adjective, not noun) Tom Coldresearchstation (very long, two words, modern) Tom Coldoval (Oval has nothing to do with the arctic/tundra)
Status
See this report for current state of nouns: https://github.com/Mimic-Tools/name-generation/blob/main/availability_report.csv Also check out the wiki for regions not yet added https://github.com/Mimic-Tools/name-generation/wiki
