setup.py says both MIT:

and Apache:

https://github.com/Mimino666/langdetect/blob/a1598f1afcbfe9a758cfd06bd688fbc5780177b2/setup.py#L28

and the LICENSE file says Apache.

I think license='MIT' is just a typo and meant to say license='Apache-2.0' :wink:
