Electrical Vehicles Charging

For regels.overheid.nl, we work with work packages, these are small jobs for a fixed fee to deliver part functionality (proof of concept), including minimal documentation and tests.

Introduction

We want to realize a use case around the phenomenon of 'Electrical Vehicles Charging' in small pieces and publish it on regels.overheid.nl to illustrate:

• Social value and/or relevance
• Ethical aspects
• Approach rule management
• Application in implementation practice (who are the (in)directly involved?)
• Valuation of experience(s) parties involved and feedback on this

The idea is to prioritize criteria for completing the use case (everyone is satisfied, we are all happy) and to realize them in separate releases over time on the basis of the same use case in a broader scope.

User story

Without intervention (at times) the charging of EVs will soon reduce the exceed network capacity.

• If everyone is on the same moment their EV wants to charge.
• If everyone always one full charge expected.

We should think about Smart EV Charging.

• [ ] As an EV user, I want a smart place for the charging station so that I can charge my car without too many obstacles without causing annoyance in the neighborhood
• [ ] As an EV user, I want a system that decides whose electrical car is allowed to charge, at what speed and to what capacity.

I wish to work on it with my initial approach of implementing OS scheduling methods as an analogy to the use case. If more info is provided on the exact expectation of the use case, I will come up with a well-defined strategy for the same.
