Crafting calculator hides JEI, making it unusable #61

I can't use the crafting calculator because JEI isn't open on the side when the calculator is open, and the calculator completely relies on that. Doesn't show up at any GUI scales (I checked because that felt like a likely cause). I've used the new versions of both JEI and the crafting calculator in this game version in a different modpack, and it worked there, so I'm guessing something else in this pack is interfering.

I'm guessing this is a problem with a mod, not the pack itself, but I don't know which mod is causing the problem, so I'm mentioning it here.

Anyone have a solution, or at least know why it's not working?

I'm trying different versions of JEI to see if one of them works. I'll edit the issue to mention if one works.

Results so far: 15.3.0.4 crashes as soon as I try to open the crafting calculator menu 15.2.0.27 doesn't crash with the crafting calculator, but JEI isn't ever rendered in any menu I tried a few more older versions but JEI didn't render with any of them, so I'm assuming for now that going further is not going to solve the problem.

my guess off the top of my head is that it's EMI causing it, if you disable EMI and its 2 addons then JEI will be present, my guess is that works.

I'll try that. I was actually wondering what mod was adding those features - some are neat, but some get a bit in the way. Mostly just curious though :)

Yep, that was it. I wonder why that breaks it?
