I've tried everything sort of a fresh Windows 10 install. WinUsbDisplay software crashes and relaunches every few seconds. I cant use the adapter. I've notice this is a pretty widespread issue on forums. Here's what my Log looks like

there is something wrong with dual Graphics card

easterNday commented 2 years ago

如果你是双屏幕或者双显卡,请到System>Display>Graphics设置MS USB Display的图形选项为集成显卡即可。

I have the same issue with this error message on a dual PC, I have a work USB to HDMI adapter and that works fine so i dont think its a problem with my graphics card. For the benefit for others here is more specific instructions but i couldnt find any integrated graphics settings:

To set the graphics option for your MS USB Display to integrated graphics, you can follow these steps in Windows 10 or Windows 11:

Right-click on the Desktop: Begin by right-clicking anywhere on your desktop. This will open a context menu.

Open Display Settings: In the context menu, click on "Display settings." This will open the display settings window where you can configure multiple display options.

Advanced Display Settings: Once in the display settings, scroll down and find the link to "Advanced display settings" or a similar option. Click on this to access more detailed settings.

Graphics Settings: Look for an option that says "Graphics settings" or something similar. This option allows you to manage how graphics are handled by different applications and hardware connected to your computer.

Choose MS USB Display: Within the graphics settings, you should find a way to choose the application or hardware you want to configure. Select the MS USB Display from the list of available options.

Set to Integrated Graphics: After selecting MS USB Display, you will be given an option to set it to use the integrated graphics. Integrated graphics refer to the GPU built into your processor, as opposed to a separate, dedicated graphics card.

Save Changes: Make sure to save any changes you've made before exiting the settings.
