Open orschiro opened 9 years ago

Typeform feedback:

The questions are quite vague and difficult to interpret. How would I "feel empowered to impact Happiness"?

orschiro commented 9 years ago

Maybe the following change?

- After today's challenge, to what extent do you feel empowered to positively impact ...?
+ After today's challenge, to what extent do you feel empowered to have a positive influence on...?

And then:

- Happiness
+ Your personal happiness

- Life
+ Your personal life situation

- Economy
+ Your personal financial situation

- Society
+ Other people around you

- Government
+ Politics and decision-making

But then our objective is not met. For me, the survey is part of the awarenes-raising-process. By connecting the concrete challenges to the abstract entities (now seen under '-'), we help individuals acknowledge that there is a direct link between individuals and systems.

I am fine connecting these verbally and thereby explaining, but I don't know. It seems like we are diluting the objectives a bit, if we change it as suggested.

I think I see your thought but don't get it fully.

Let's take Happiness as an example.

For me as a user, happiness refers to my personal happiness.

It's very difficult to comprehend or imagine the happiness of a system.

This goes beyond my scope of comprehension.

And I'm worried that the Meekathon can provide me with this understanding.

There is nothing in our methodology (as of now) to evaluate this.

Isn't this a discussion? Did you not plea to have discussions in Slack?

I guess, this is an issue that we need to leave open until the end of the pilot, too.
