apologies missed this - is the plan still to merge this down? (wasn't sure of the upstream changes/deps etc). there are some conflicts I may or may not have created in the mean time -- happy to work through them if non obvious=!

Not planning to merge it immediately but contains some changes that might be desired for CLI-PromptAlignment to work nicely soon
