Hi Giovante
Did you notice that the playlist that madwiz maintains is old. It does not
update at all eversince I am using it. Now the latest links in that list are 6
days old, nothing added after that. Although most of them work but they are
old. So no fix I wouyld say.
Has anyone been able to or knows how to access Playlists in general?
Thanks all.

There can be no REAL fix to get the official Navi-X playlist working since they
are having issues! Only THEY can fix it. What I posted in #62 is something
that will work right now instead of causing Navi-X to hang, which is something
a lot of people were experiencing. Also once the official server is up again,
for those of you that have switched server according to my instructions, your
list should auto sync with the official one. You should also see improvement
in the load speed of the list.
BTW: All credit for this goes to WHUFCLEE of XBMCHUB (I'm just re-posting his
instructions in #62, that's all)
Everybody needs to have patience until Navi-X themselves fix the problem.

Hello all,
My first post so please be gentle... :-)
I, like many others, can´t find the settings.dat file (running windows and
Openelec and cant find the file on neither of them) so i did some
troubleshooting. It looks like the settings file is created _after_ the first
time you click on "Navi-Xtreme Media Portal" menu. Since Navi-x 3.7.8 never
times out, the settings.dat will never be created.
On my Openelec system i installed Navi-x 3.7.6, verified that settings.dat was
not there, then i clicked the media portal menu, waited for the timeout, and
noticed that the settings.dat had been created. I dont know if this is a
completely valid settings.dat since it could not contact the Navi-x server, it
might only contain some parts of it. I tried to copy that file to my Windows
Navi-x 3.7.8 but it did not work. But i suppose that if you have had it running
in the past (before Navi-X server went down), then you should have a valid
settings.dat file which you can modify according to suggestions at #62.
So, does anyone have a Windows Navi-x settings.dat file to share? It would to
interesting to see if only adding the settings.dat file and modify it with
information from #62 solves the problem.

sports,a lot of popups!! but the links work & some TV shows stream live there
also, but You can use post 62 also, I have done it to change 30 day trial

There should a be a timeout for connection in the Navi-X Addon or a way to
cancel the attempted connection.. Those are shortfalls of the addon.

Still not working for me.
1 question I have though is in the YouTube video, when navi x is loaded up it
looks very different to mine. When I load mine up it just shows 5 thumbnails
(portal, history, faves, my xbmc and updates) if I change this to list, still
only the 5 options in a list.
With the YouTube video, when he accesses navi x it shows a list with a load of
different folders I.e. navi x homepage and other categories. how do I change my
navi x to do this?
Cheers

This is because you are using the latest version of Navix-x. If you want all
those folders back, revert to any older version of Navi-x by clicking 'Updates'
and sleceting an older version.
Original comment by wan...@gmail.com

How to fix on the Raspberry Pi :
1. Mount your SD card on another Linux Machine.
2. Do a file search on your SD card for settings.dat
3. Copy the file path
Next we are going to edit the file, but we need to do it as a root user
4. Open the Terminal and type
sudo gedit PATH TO YOUR SETTINGS FILE/settings.dat
5. The follow the instructions from post #62 = see below
{{{{
3) Replace the first line of the file (yours will probably say http://navi-x.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/Playlists/home2.plx) with http://whufclee.googlecode.com/svn/Navi-X/pluginhomepage.plx
4) Save the file
5) Start XBMC and Navi-X
6) Try the entry that says 'Latest Entries Madwiz92'. Thats the one that works for me.
}}}}

I'm experiencing the same issue here as well! No matter what I try to watch on
Navi-X I receive and error of some form. I've been looking at a number of
sources that says that there are server issues, but I haven't been able to
confirm them from an official source. I'm running 3.7.8 on a mac that wasn't
upgraded to Mavericks so I don't understand the issue!!! Needless to say it's
frustrating!

I'm watching live TV using xbmc as we speak, so no it is not toast. Their
webservers are crap, but it does work.. Sometimes.. If only the search function
wouldn't time out it would be perfect. I really hope they make mirrors for
these files as someone previously suggested.

I keep getting this exact same problem on all 3 versions of navi. I wish that
devs would implement timeout for things that don't load or don't play.
Sometimes getting "please wait" when trying to search using navix and it
doesn't go away and no way to kill it on android box linux build then I have to
power down the box and wait 3+ minutes for it to turn back on.
Or same problem with some streams you get Loading... Bottom left and spinning
circle with Working on right indefinetly
