suggestion for monitoring entities with CCTV Surveillance Cameras #36

Could you please create CCTV camera for security purpose? something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqm4m3TBfMU and will be good idea to make monitors that can detect players on screen ("player/entity face recognition..") and then monitors send redstone signal based on configuration of the monitor... Right now so far as i know there is no any mod that have cctv or something like that..

The idea sounds cool, but sounds like a big task. I don't think I'll implement it for that reason. Not that I don't implement things that are a big task (like the Drones), but with this I feel it's a too big task for a not that useful feature.

If you want to emit a redstone signal if a certain player is nearby your base, use a Universal Sensor :)
