I tried out the aerial interface together with a friend and I ended up destroying her armour!
I placed and turned on a lever one block down and one block to the side of the aerial, then I placed a hopper below the aerial (next to the lever). It pulled out her boots and then stopped. She took her boots and I filled all slots of the hopper with compressed Iron Ingots, gave her the remaining ingots I had and flipped the lever. The aerial pulled pulled out all the armour but instead of putting it in the hopper that is full of compressed iron the armour disappeared and we destroyed the hopper so nothing more could disappear. After placing everything she had in chests we tried again with a hopper to see if the armour would appear, did not work. We also tried extracting with thermal dynamics from one side of the aerial in a second attempt to get the armour back but that failed as well.
