Just wondering if the humanoid golems could use the animations from better combat (https://legacy.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/better-combat-by-daedelus) if it's installed?

Not sure how do do that. Do you have examples of other mods using Better Combat animation for mobs, let's say, zombies?

Hey Ho, Better Mob Compat (https://legacy.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/better-mob-combat) is sort of working in this department. it mostly just needs fixes for two-handed and dual wield animations. :)
