7 years ago Neodymium itself could easily fit into Modern Metals - it'd be useless for tools, however. As to magnets... that needs discussion by the team, but at this point I can see it being a "that belongs to the Advantage mods" as they are the MMD Mods that deal with tech.
Quite simple: I think neodymium would be a good addition to Modern Metals. It's used quite a lot in modern reality and I think modpack makers might benefit from it. Something which might complement this addition would be the addition of magnetic iron and magnetic neodymium as independent metals.
